Simply Minimal

Less is more! This phrase certainly held true for this semi-detatched house located just a stroll away from Orchard Road. Simplicity is key with our design intent to create a fuss free, minimalist interior encompassing white as the main color to be contrasted only by shades of dark walnut. The result? Insta worthy spaces in every corner!

Over in the living room, a customized 360 degree rotatable TV wall allows the homeowners to enjoy their favorite TV programs while enjoying a meal at the dining table or baking at the island counter.

Taking center stage in the dining area and dry kitchen is a 2.4m dining table which sits alongside a 1.7m island counter. Both customized using the same granite, the 2.4m dining table is movable allow flexibility for re-positioning when need be. This granite slab from Spain with beautiful natural grayish veins strikes a stark contrast to its black base, giving depth and details to the overall monochrome color scheme in the house.

The bathroom in the first floor offers a bit of fun with contrasting shapes and style while maintaining the monochrome color scheme.

The Master’s Attic

One would be forgiven for thinking that he is walking up the stairs of a pre-war colonial bungalow, all thanks to the all white surroundings, dark walnut flooring, timber roof and the two leaf lattice doors.

The entire attic was transformed into an enclave for the home owners with a spacious walk-in wardrobe attached with an en-suite bathroom. A hand-me-down sewing machine was given a new life and converted to become a dressing table for the missus.
